Hon. Lisette Shirdan-Harris Receives A. Leon Higginbotham Award

lsh-1.pngNAWJ member the Honorable Lisette Shirdan-Harris, Administrative Judge of the First Judicial District, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Trial Division, is the 2022 recipient of The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia Inc. prestigious Honorable A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. Award at the Barristers’ 71st Annual Awards and Scholarship Gala on May 14, 2022 at the Sofitel Hotel, Philadelphia.

“Created in 1993 and first presented to The Honorable A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr., this award celebrates Judge Higginbotham’s contributions to the legal profession and our society. The Barristers’ Association honors an individual who possesses the qualities that exemplify Judge Higginbotham’s career, professional excellence, scholarship and commitment to social justice.”

Judge Shirdan-Harris is the Immediate Past NAWJ International Director and U.S. North American delegate to the IAWJ.  She is a former Chair of the Clifford Scott Green Chapter of the National Bar Association Judicial Council.
