Kennedy received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the Board of Trustees of Pennsylvania State University at a black-tie Distinguished Alumni, Honorary Alumni and Philanthropists of the Year Awards Ceremony Dinner held at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center on the University Park Campus on October 9, 2021.
