jhanira-reed.jpgMy name is Jhanira Reed and I'm currently a junior at Howard University. I'm pursuing a major in Sociology, alongside minors in Legal & Mass Communications and Business Administration. I'm really excited about graduating in May 2025 and I'm already making the most of my spare time by managing social media accounts and sprucing up Airbnb properties.

My dream is to become the first judge in my family and attending Howard Law School after I graduate is the next step towards achieving that dream. I'm determined to make a positive impact in the field of social justice through a career in law and to uplift my family, showing them that such dreams are not only possible but achievable. Outside of class, I love spending my time with the Howard rugby team and trying out for the Bisonettes dance team. These activities give me a chance to relax and bring balance to my life.

I'm thrilled to be part of the NAWJ community and I'm looking forward to learning from the best and shaping my own path in the legal world. I'm passionate about law and I'm excited to meet people who share that passion. It's about more than just breaking my own barriers; it's about inspiring others to aim high and shatter their own ceilings.
