In NAWJ's fifth webinar in their COVID-19 related series, national judicial leaders discussed the pandemic’s impact on vulnerable children and families in the child welfare system. Panelists Chief Justice Amy Nechtem, Judge Edwina Mendelson, Justice Elizabeth Clement, and Justice Anne McKeig informed us on how courts and communities are building resiliency through innovative solutions and strong stakeholder collaboration in their respective states.  This esteemed panel provided an insighful presentation of the current national child welfare landscape and innovative judicial system responses to safeguarding children and family well-being in Massachusetts, New York, Michigan and Minnesota.
