The Child Welfare Mapping Model is the first of its kind in the nation and state leaders are collaborating with national partners to develop a blueprint and toolkit to be adapted in communities nationwide. The Child Welfare Mapping is based in public health and collective impact approaches, creating a community-based map of the local child welfare landscape to (1) identify resources and gaps in practices, protocols, and programs, (2) collectively agree on priorities for change, and (3) develop an action plan to improve system and service-level responses.
Speakers to include Hon. Amy Nechtem, Chief Justice Massachusetts Juvenile Court; Shana Cashman, Program Manager for Pathway Initiative and Juvenile Initiatives at the Massachusetts Juvenile Court; Marisa Hebble, MPH, Manager, Massachusetts Community Justice Project.
