With "Strengthening Your Judicial Core" as the conference theme, many will come away feeling recharged and reconnected. The program will include at least two keynote speakers:

  1. Ian Gershengorn, who teaches about the U.S. Supreme Court at Harvard Law School, will provide us with an overview of the U.S. Supreme Court 2025/2026 term. Mr. Gershengorn served as an Acting U.S. Solicitor General in the Obama Administration, is a partner at Jenner & Block LLP, and is an adjunct professor at his alma mater.

  2. Ross Guberman, well-known writing author, including Point Taken: How to Write Like the World's Best Judges. His consulting firm Legal Writing Pro LLC provides BriefCatch. Mr. Guberman is also a native Minnesotan.

We will also offer CLE programs on: Judicial ethics in the courtroom, AI and the courts, advancements in e-discovery, emerging trend of state constitutional challenges, media and the courts, and a “bar to bench” panelists offering their unique perspectives.  We are seeking 8-10 hours of CLE credit. Friday’s program ends with a 5:30pm onsite reception.

Saturday morning’s program will end at 11:30am. Boxed lunches will be offered as we begin the afternoon excursions.

The Saturday afternoon can be spent with family, friends, and fellow NAWJ members:
