DIRECTIONS

DRIVING: Parking is available in the Founders Hall parking garage. The parking garage can be reached from Kirkwood Rd / 10th Street.  After entering the garage, make the first left to parking for Hazel Hall.   Take the Hazel Hall elevators to “G” and follow the signs to registration for check-in.

METRO: The closest metro stop is Virginia Square.  Upon exiting the metro, make a u-turn towards Fairfax Drive.  Turn right on Fairfax Drive and walk approximately two blocks to the law school building at 3301.  Please enter through the Hazel Hall atrium and you will see the registration table for check-in.

Leslye E. Orloff, Esq., Director, National Immigrant Women’s Advocacy Project and Commissioner Loretta Young, Family Court, New Castle County, Delaware will explain eligibility for the U Visa and Special Immigrant Juvenile status and highlight how these immigration issues can be raised in civil cases.

Professor JoAnn Koob,

Professor JoAnn Koob, who is Director of the Liberty & Law Center at Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, will talk about free speech and First Amendment issues in higher education, including the legal status of speech codes and other university policies regulating hate speech and other offensive speech.
