2023 IAWJ Biennial Conference

The conference is hosted by the Union of Moroccan Women Judges with the generous support of the Moroccan Ministry of Justice and the Region of Marrakesh. We are very excited that our members will have the opportunity to get together in person after so long where only virtual meetings have been possible.

The conference venue is the Kenzi Rose Garden Hotel. At present, it is envisaged that the conference will start at 10 am on 11 May 2023 with the opening ceremony and lunch. There will then be a visit to the Palais de Justice, followed by a dinner and cultural experience. The conference will then run for two full days on 12 and 13 May and half a day on 14 May. The gala dinner will be on 14 May. On site registration and the drop off of items for the silent auction will be available from 10 May.

If you register and attend the 2023 Biennial Conference of IAWJ, you will be welcomed by the US Ambassador to Morocco at a special reception at the US Embassy on May 10, 2023 exclusively for the US Judges and the Moroccan Judges in attendance. The purpose of the reception is to  develop and encourage relationships between Moroccan and US judges.

For the pre conference option, the dates of the trip are May 5-10, 2023, The tour starts in Tangier and ends in Marrakesh. It includes guided vists of Chefchouen, Volubills, Fes, Meknes, Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakesh. Pricing is $1,050 per person double occupancy, or $1,100 single occupancy. NAWJ/IAWJ members and their guests are all welcome to join the tour.
