Written by National Association of Women Judges|March 27, 2020|News

Dear NAWJ Members,

We are in turbulent times with the rapid rise in cases of Covid-19 in our country.  I hope you and your loved ones are keeping well.

I am writing to inform you that our Executive Director,  Priya Purandare will be leaving the organization to join the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) as their Executive Director.  We were pleased to work with her during her short tenure.  We appreciate her energy and insights to steer our organization on a successful path and wish her well in this next chapter of her career.

The NAWJ Board of Directors is committed to seeing NAWJ through a smooth transition. Former Interim Executive Director Laurie Denham will join the organization on March 30, 2020.

I thank you for your continued commitment to NAWJ as we take steps to ensure that we remain on a sustainable path—in service of our vibrant and diverse membership.

Take care and be safe,
